Remember this? …. ‘Hole in the Road‘ …Castle Square was the plaza at the intersection of High Street, Angel Street, and Arundel Gate in Sheffield city centre. Thanks to Laura and her team at the National Tramway Museum in Crich Derbyshire for pulling out the 1904 No.7 Chesterfield Corporation Tram for me to photograph. The tram ran between the terminus at Brampton and the village of Whittington in Chesterfield.
